The Huguenot Society of North Carolina
$1,000 College Scholarship
The Huguenot Society of North Carolina is pleased to award a $1,000 Annual Scholarship for 2018 to a member of The Huguenot Society of North Carolina attending an accredited college or university. This scholarship is for college and postgraduate students. This scholarship is not automatically renewable; however, a winner, in any given year, is not prohibited from submitting an application in subsequent years provided that The Huguenot Society of North Carolina offers a scholarship.
The deadline for sending an application (downloadable from this page) to the Scholarship Committee Chairman is February 1st of the year in which the award is to be made.
A winner will be selected by the Scholarship Committee and announced at the April meeting.
The scholarship award will be paid directly to the winner’s educational institution.
Criteria:
- Be a member of The Huguenot Society of North Carolina.
- Be a US citizen.

Be currently enrolled at an accredited college or graduate school,
have completed at least one (1) year of college, and have attained
at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent). - Provide a current transcript of grades.
